About

I am Jason Thorpe, a 39-year-old man currently spending most of my time in the United Kingdom – London to be precise. I suppose you could say I am some sort of university-educated professional. As you can already tell, I am not particularly generous with personal information at this point, but that could change. Right now I just want to get this blog up and running and out there. Suffice to say that I hold no formal qualification in neither training, nutrition nor any of the other subjects I intend to write about.

The purpose of this blog is to provide an outlet for my thoughts on lifting weights and on improving life in general, not just on the physical side although I do think the two are intimately related. They are for me at least, and that’s what this blog is about. It will also be a way for me to track my progress. It at some point when I have built up enough content it could be of help to others, then that would be great too. Part of what I consider my progress is figuring out what is really important in life, and I have a sneaking suspicion that contributing beyond myself is part of what keeps us growing and makes us happy.
